There are few bands in South Florida with the loyal following as Audio Heist. With lead vocalist Jack Licata at the helm, Audio Heist is a rock band that can plan anything from “Rebel Yell” to “Wanted Dead Or Alive.”

The band has frequently performed at World of Beer’s Coconut Creek, West Palm Beach, Wellington and Dadeland locations, as well has dozens of other popular watering holes, which makes this band ideal for some brewski drinking at City Link’s BeerFest.

Frontman Jack Licata caught up with City Link to talk about the band's involvement with BeerFest.

A: The more you drink, the better we sound.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere: Check out our list of the best happy hours

Q: What are some songs we can look forward to hearing you guys play at BeerFest?

A: The set list is very diverse, but we want to keep the energy up for this event. You might see some classic rock, some Maroon 5, some 311.

Q: Since you’ve played the fest before, what’s been your favorite BeerFest memory?

A: Being on stage in front of the huge crowd at the Mizner Park Amphitheater back in March. It was Woodstock for a cover band with thousands of people drinking, dancing and having a good time.

Q: What new songs/albums are you working on?

A: I’m working on a full length original album due out next year. It’s a tasty mix of rock and electronic music. Anthony is putting together his own guitar-driven rock project. As for the Heist, we're going to add some more current dance songs.

Q: You also have a Bond tribute?

A: I’ve always been a big Bond fan - especially the music. Everything from the title tracks to the scores that set the scenes seemed dangerous and very international. I started toying with the idea to do my take on a theme song when Quantum of Solace came out in 2008. I wanted to finish it this year with the release of Skyfall as my own tribute to 50 years of Bond and Bond songs. You can download it for free at Reverbnation.com/jacklicata.

Q: What is your favorite drinking movie and why?

A: It's a toss up between Beerfest and Animal House. Animal House is a classic! Although The Big Lebowski always leaves me craving ‘caucasians.’

Q: What song is easiest to remember the words to if you’re totally drunk?

A: It would have to be Van Halen's version of ‘You Really Got Me.’ I think there's three lines in the whole song, maybe four.

Q: Is there an official beer the band consumes?

A: Paulie and I are partial to Miller Lite, but if we had to pick one, I'd say Sam Adams. We all go for the Oktoberfest and Winter Lager around this time of year.

Q: After BeerFest, what is Audio Heist doing next?

A: We'll be playing the Winterfest Boat Parade on Dec. 15. We'll be the barge with the band.
