Angelo Elia — who owns restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Weston, Delray Beach and the Bahamas — will open a second Delray restaurant this fall.

Called D’Angelo Pizza, Wine Bar, Tapas, it is the third outpost for Elia's small plates concept, after successes in Fort Lauderdale and Weston. It will open in The Shoppes at Addison Place on Jog Road.

“We love the vibe and community of Delray Beach and feel it will be the perfect fit for our third location of D'Angelo’s,” Elia said in a press release. “People love the authentic Italian food and great wines we offer at such affordable prices.”

D'Angelo's small plates are priced between $7 and $12 and include short rib and scallop with broccoli rabe risotto; poached egg crostini with fava and prosciutto salad; and crab salad timbale.

The menu will also offer ceviche and carpaci ($10-$13), pizza ($10-$15) and desserts ($6-$8) that include house-made gelato and sorbet as well as traditional tiramisu and cannoli.

Designed by architect Alfredo Leon, the 4,450-square-foot new restaurant features dark woods, glass shelving and white-stone countertops.
