Brio Tuscan Grille introduces light menu

Ten days into the New Year and Brio Tuscan Grille wants to help with your weight loss resolutions.

It’s Lighter Side of Tuscany menu features 18 items – all with 500 calories or less.

“Millions of Americans are watching what they eat,” Brio’s Nicole Roope said in a press release. “We want our guests to feel confident that they have options when dining with us. Not only are these items light and flavorful, but they are true to the experience they have come to know as distinctively, deliciously Brio.”

Here are just some of the lighter menu offerings, which are priced between $4.95 and $19.95.

Caprese Classico: A classic salad with sliced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil with field greens and a balsamic glaze. 300 calories.

Shrimptini: Served in a martini glass with classic cocktail sauce and flaxseed cracker. 200 calories.

Caesar salad: Romaine lettuce, parmesan, house made croutons and Caesar dressing. 300 calories.

Penne Verona: Tomatoes, caramelized onions, pancetta, fresh basil, house made marinara and Parm-Reg. 500 calories.

Pasta oesto: Angel hair tossed with grilled chicken, caramelized onions, basil, tomatoes, roasted peppers, Feta and spinach. 500 calories.

Salmon Griglia: With grilled asparagus, sweet potatoes, roasted peppers, spinach, diced tomatoes, feta, pesto vinaigrette and a balsamic glaze. 500 calories.

Shrimp Mediterranean: Spicy grilled jumbo shrimp on a bed of orzo and farro pilaf, broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes, spinach, feta and a pesto vinaigrette. 470 calories.

5 ounce filet Brio: Grilled to order, with grilled asparagus, sweet potatoes, spinach, roasted peppers and pesto vinaigrette. 365 calories.

Brio Tuscan Grille is lcoated in The Village at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, The Shops at Pembroke Gardens in Pembroke Pines and The Shops at Boca Center in Boca Raton.
