“Eating Alabama,” a documentary that follows a young couple as they set out to eat locally and seasonally, is coming to the Miramar Cultural Center | ArtsPark at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21.
On hand for questions and answers will be Andrew Grace, the film’s director and producer.
The film tells the story of Grace and his wife returning to Alabama and attempting to eat the way their grandparents did. They soon discover that nearly everything about food and eating has changed.
“Grace's adventures in local foodie-ism, which give way to broader insights, are thought-provoking,” wrote The San Francisco Bay Guardian.
Tickets are $15 or save 10 percent buying a two-show Southern Circuit Independent Film Series subscription.
