In its ongoing drive to attract value-conscious diners, Miami-based Burger King is introducing a French Fry Burger to its dollar menu starting Sept. 1.
A French Fry Burger?
Said a Burger King rep in an email: “The offering includes a savory flame broiled beef patty topped with crunchy Burger King french fries, crisp lettuce, ketchup and creamy mayonnaise all on a warm toasted sesame seed bun.”
It looks like a basic hamburger topped with four fries, although the classic burger is dressed with just kethcup, mustard and pickle. The new burger has 360 calories and 19 grams of fat, according to The Associated Press.
A classic Burger King burger has 240 calories and 8 grams of fat.
I'm not sure I get it, but Burger King must know what it's doing.
