Howie Kleinberg of Bulldog Barbecue (15400 Biscayne Blvd, North Miami, 305-940-9655, Bulldog-BBQ.com) hosts his second pop-up dinner Monday starting at 6 p.m. with guest chef Ted Mendez of Grove Isle Hotel & Spa in Miami.
The theme this time is Latin barbecue. The family-style dinner is $50. Call the restaurant for reservations.

Smoked chicken and queso fresco empanadas with guava barbecue sauce
Crispy fried shrimp with orange-aji panka glaze and fresh garden herb salad
Brisket vaca frita with congri, fried egg and vegetable escabeche
Wood grilled hog snapper with Florida tomatoes, avocados and olives
“Pork Squared,” Cuban spice-rubbed charcoal roasted shoulder, loin, belly and ribs with yellow chicharron rice and sour orange mojo
