Tickets are still available for a special fundraising dinner Monday, Dec. 10 at Miami Culinary Institute featuring New Orleans chef Susan Spicer.
The evening starts at 6:30 p.m. with Spicer, a James Beard award winner, leading a cooking class in the Food Theater of the Miami Culinary Institute. Guests will receive an autographed copy of her cookbook “Crescent City Cooking.” Several of the chef’s recipes will be served along side Grey Goose Vodka cocktails and wine-pairings from Vinecraft.
The fundraiser for Slow Food Miami’s Edible Garden Program and the Miami Culinary Institute of Miami Dade College will feature an unveiling of Slow Food Miami’s new fountain created by local agency Sapient Technologies and designed to remind young chefs that fresh ingredients are the basis for good food.
