Rip Esselstyn, the former Austin firefighter and author “The Engine 2 Diet,” presents a free lecture 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 at Nova Southeastern University.
His New York Times best seller teaches the connection between eating and health. Esselstyn is a proponent of plant-based diet.
The evening, sponsored by Whole Foods Market Plantation, starts with samples of healthy snacks. Esselstyn’s lecture is 7 to 8 p.m. followed by a question and answers and book signing at 8:30 p.m.
