Arcadian Winery is featured at a wine dinner Oct. 8 at Sea in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

Winemaker Joe Davis of Arcadian Winery in Santa Rita Hills, Calif., is the guest of honor at a wine dinner at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 8 at Sea (235 Commercial Blvd., Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, 954-533-2580, SeaTheRestaurant.com).

Chef/owner Tony Sindaco has created a special $110 menu with paired wines. Call for reservations because this one is going to fill up fast.

First course: Cheddar-apple torta, black bean corn relish, homemade apple butter served with  2007 Arcadian Chardonnay, Sleepy Hollow Vineyard, Santa Lucia Highlands

Second course: Crab stuffed poblano, yellow tomato salad with red tomato vinaigrette served with 2007 Arcadian Pinot Noir, Sleepy Hollow Vineyard, Santa Lucia Highlands

Third course: Chilean sea bass, prosciutto butternut squash, Brussels sprouts risotto with pinot reduction served with 2007 Arcadian pinot noir, Fiddlestix Vineyard, Santa Rita Hills

Fourth course: Seared sea scallop, oxtail-mushroom ragout with crispy leeks served with 2007 Arcadian pinot noir, Pisoni Vineyard, Monterey

Dessert: Strawberry pound cake French toast, macerated strawberries, chocolate Anglaise
