While its official grand opening isn’t until next Thursday, Dylan’s Candy Bar has already become a must-see for visitors to South Beach. It opened its doors in late January.

Founder and CEO is Dylan Lauren, daughter of fashion icon Ralph Lauren, who opened her first Candy Bar in New York in 2001. There are now locations in East Hampton, N.Y., Houston and Los Angeles.

The 3,500-squre-foot Miami Beach store boasts 7,000 different candies. Lauren even created a South Beach gummy mix, above, with gators, sunglasses and palm trees. A cafe serves ice cream sundaes, chocolate pizzas, sandwiches and special candy-inspired cocktails.

Dylan’s Candy Bar (801 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, 305-531-1988, DylansCandyBar.com) is open 11 a.m.-midnight Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-1 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday.
