Okeechobee Steakhouse celebrates 65 years

Okeechobee Steakhouse (854 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, 561-683-5151, OkeeSteakhouse.com) is already well known for its free birthday giveaways. But in honor of its 65^th anniversary on Monday, guests get a free 8-ounce New York Strip steak dinner with a dinner menu purchase of an adult entree of equal or greater value.

The birthday celebration runs 4-10 p.m. and will feature a block party with live entertainment. Okeechobee Steakhouse owner Curtis Lewis was two years old when his parents, Ralph and Norma, opened the doors in 1947.
