Calling all South Florida top chefs.
Bravo’s “Top Chef" reality cooking competition is looking for new faces for its upcoming 16th season.
The show will be having a casting call from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 10 at the Stubborn Seed, 101 Washington Ave., Miami Beach. The series is traveling around the country and visiting restaurants of alumni and friends of “Top Chef’’.
The Miami Beach event will be at the restaurant owned by season 13 winner Jeremy Ford who will greet and meet potential contestants. He opened the restaurant last fall in the former TiramesU. And he partnered with the owners of Glass & Vine and Big Easy Winebar & Grill for the business venture.
The reality series follows about 15 contestants nationwide as they battle in the kitchen during cooking challenges to win the title. The show is hosted by Padma Lakshmi along with judges including Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons, Graham Elliot and Fatima Ali.
