“Our neighbors and nearby residents have been able to watch Beach House [Pompano] literally rise up out of the sand over the past two years,” says Andy Fox, director of operations. “This has built a tremendous amount of anticipation and excitement. Pompano Beach is an area that has been overlooked for far too long.”
The chic beachfront retreat boasts sweeping views of the ocean and lighthouse, particularly from the dramatic second-floor rooftop lounge with tiers of semi-private banquettes offering built-in coolers. Downstairs, a sea of basket chandeliers sway in the breeze from open garage doors. International surf culture inspired the predominantly light wood décor with a terrace, an indoor/outdoor bar and organic touches, such as terrariums.
Bestsellers include grilled artichokes ($13), tacos ($14-$16), chicken cordon-bleu sandwich ($16), daily fresh fish (market price), Drunken Rib-eye with pineapple salsa (market price), Key lime pie ($9) and boozy popsicles served in glasses of prosecco ($14).
Lunch and dinner are served daily, and DJs spin on Fridays and Saturdays. Weekend brunch will launch by this summer.
