“We marinate all of our chicken in yogurt, and I think it makes it super juicy,” says Talde, who owned the recently shuttered Talde Miami Beach. “We really wanted something that is accessible to all people, but it’s not the only thing we have. I think our burger [$13] is special also, and we’ve curated the sides and salads with a local and seasonal sensibility, so I think they shine.”
Highlights include three kinds of fried chicken: Nashville hot and Southern buttermilk (both $14) and a Korean-style sandwich ($10). Lighter offerings include a roasted veggie bowl with quinoa and salsa verde ($9) and avocado or smoked salmon toast ($12).
Talde’s hospitality group also operates an indoor/outdoor bar and sells Detroit-style pizza at the Corner in the market.
The market’s bright industrial setting aims for a sophisticated, yet playful vibe with seating inside and out.
Clare’s hours are from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily with weekend brunch specials.
