American Harvest

701 S. Miami Avenue, Suite 340, Miami, 786-814-6968, AmericanHarvestCo.com

The owners of Glass & Vine in Coconut Grove have debuted this Brickell City Centre addition on the third floor next door to its new upscale sibling, Big Easy Winebar & Grill by Ernie Els.

"The two concepts are very different but at the same time complement each other very well," co-founder Ignacio Garcia-Menocal says." American Harvest is a fast-casual, counter-service option for those looking for a quick, clean-eating alternative. Brickell City Centre is a game changer and an important step in redefining urban living in Miami."

Modern takes on multiethnic comfort recipes include spicy Thai salad ($8), curry roasted vegetable bowl with quinoa ($9) and Pesto Harvest Skillet with a multitude of veggies ($9). Chimichurri vinaigrette accompanies grass-fed steak tacos ($13) and all-natural rotisserie chicken skillet with roasted sweet potatoes and scallions ($10).

Beer and wine are available ($5-$8).

Lunch and dinner are served daily amid a light farmhouse vibe with porcelain mosaic tiles, lattice white counters, pressed-tin ceiling, greenery, bare-bulb pendant lighting, tin chairs, light-wood accents and a mural of a vintage truck and pinup girl.

Up next: a South Miami location at 5958 S. Dixie Highway in late summer.
