This burgeoning 7-year-old chain, based in Boca Raton, has opened its sixth South Florida location, in Frank Theatres Cinebowl at the Delray Marketplace, replacing the in-house eatery.
"Our locations in Frank Theatres are slightly bigger, and we have a slightly different appetizer menu due to service in the bowling lanes," president Bill Herman says. "As we move forward in our partnership with Frank Theatres, we'll be serving food inside the theater at several locations as they retrofit them with reclining seats."
Burgers are named after rock n' roll songs, such as Mustang Sally with Wagyu beef, onion marmalade, brie and prosciutto ($16.99). The Stairway to Heaven indulges with Wagyu, foie gras and black-truffle aioli ($19.99). Alternative burgers include veggie ($11.99) and ahi tuna ($17.99). Twists on fries are zucchini, mushroom and green bean ($2.99-$8.99).
The menu suggests craft-beer pairings from a selection of 20 on tap and more than 60 bottled ones.
Vanilla ice cream accompanies fried Twinkies or Oreos (both $6.99).
Lunch and dinner daily are served amid rock 'n' roll vinyl wall coverings and on an upgraded patio with a courtyard view. New furniture is in the works, as well as a curtain to obscure the bowling lanes.
