Shuck for a buck this Friday, September 30, at Wild Sea Oyster Bar and Grille.
The restaurant is bringing back its "Happy Hour on a Half Shell," which happens every last Friday of the month. Wild Sea is tucked inside the Riverside Hotel, on Las Olas, in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Regular happy hour, which is 50 percent-off drinks and select oysters, will be in full effect from 5 to 7 p.m.
Happy Hour on a Half Shell specials begin at 7 p.m., with $3 glasses of Prosecco and $4 martinis. Small bites such as smoked salmon dip with bagel chips chips, orange-glazed pork belly lollipops and wahoo tartar with mangoes, roasted jalapeños and croissant crisps will be offered. They range between $4-8.
And, of course, there will be $1 Chef's choice oysters. Wild Sea normally serves $3 oysters from the East and West Coast, served with cocktail sauce and horseradish red wine mignonette.
At this half-shell happy hour, DJ Carsonicboom will play an open format, starting the night with chill vibes while mixing in old school hip-hop, house and Top 40s.
During the happy hour, Wild Sea will offer complementary samples from Miami's Concrete Beach Brewery including Stiltsville Pilsner and Rica Wheat Indian Pale Ale.
Post a "shell-fie" on social media for a chance to win a $50 gift card to the restaurant.
