Hollywood chef cooks at advance screening of "Le Chef"

Chef Michel Thomann, owner of FACE (French American Culinary Experience) in Hollywood, will  demonstrae some simple international dishes at an advance screening of the new French comedy, “Le Chef,” Tuesday, June 24.

Admission is free, but since seating is limited you’ll need to send an email to to reserve a spot. Include "Le Chef at Cinema Paradiso" in the subject line. You can also guarantee a spot by becoming a member of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival.

Thomann’s demo, which will be projected on the big screen, gets underway at 6:30 p.m. The movie starts at 7:30 p.m. Recipes for each of Thomann’s dishes will be available and everyone will receive a sample of dessert.

“Le Chef” tells the story of a three-star French chef trying to hang on to his classic French cooking style, while making room for an up and coming self-taught chef.
