A casual take on Palm Beach Grill has opened next door in a connected space — the fourth location since the original debuted in Beverly Hills in 2010.
“It’s more of a drop-in type place that doesn’t take reservations,” says Brian Biel, vice president of Hillstone Restaurant Group. “The scale is small with only 12 tables and a one-sided bar with a kitchenette in the middle. You’ll be able to explore a different experience under one roof.”
The concise classic American menu focuses on snacks, salads and sandwiches, such as hummus with crudités ($10), burrata on toast ($14), rotisserie chicken kale salad with roasted-peanut vinaigrette ($19) and prime rib French dip au jus ($22). Spicy slaw peps up the Honor Burger ($16) and crispy chicken sandwich ($17).
Popular cocktails are the Jackrabbit with tequila, Campari and grapefruit juice ($14) and the Double B with bourbon, black tea, elderflower liqueur and lemon ($15).
Artwork of plants hangs on dark Caribbean pitch pine walls above black leather booths.
“You will find more modern features, like a wood-beamed ceiling, balanced with more traditional pleated detailing on the booths,” Biel says.
