Hot plates: Firecracker shrimp? July Fourth dining deals and food events

Welcome to the latest edition of Hot Plates, your weekly guide to food events and dining promotions around South Florida. Many restaurants, particularly those near the beach and fireworks displays, will mark the occasion with food and drink specials. Happy 242nd, America!
