The new Dubliner Fort Lauderdale opened recently in the Himmarshee district, where PL8 Kitchen used to be. The bar's celebrating with free pints of Guinness until April 1, with a coupon.
The Dubliner is part of Rodney Mayo's restaurant bunch, which includes Dada and Tryst in Delray Beach, the new Hullabaloo in West Palm Beach, and the original Dubliner in Boca Raton. It's a traditional Irish concept, but the food and atmosphere skew modern.
In Fort Lauderdale, the bar features a drink special every night: $5 Jameson and Guinness on Mondays, $5 bombs on Tuesdays, $5 whiskys on Wednesdays, and you get the point. These nightly deals are in addition to the weekday happy hour, which includes food items.
