A new flagship restaurant called Coastal has opened at the Atlantic Hotel and Spa on Fort Lauderdale beach. The oceanfront eatery features Italian-inspired Mediterranean cuisine by executive chef Rocco Honig. A ribbon cutting took place at the restaurant on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
“I think being so close to the ocean, we decided to do a nice coastal town menu really focusing on the seafood aspect,” Honig says. “Fun dishes, twist on some dishes, like our lobster Milanese. Everyone has a veal or chicken Milanese. We decided to do a lobster and swordfish Milanese.”
Coastal is located in the hotel at 601 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. For more information or reservations, call 954-567-8070 or go to EatCoastal.com.
The restaurant is open for breakfast daily from 7 to 11:30 a.m. (except Sunday, when breakfast is served from 7 to 10:30 a.m.) Lunch is offered from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (no lunch on Sunday), and dinner is served from 5 to 10 p.m. (except Friday and Saturday, when dinner is offered until 11 p.m.) Sunday brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
