Lenore Nolan-Ryan, best known for her cooking school and catering company in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea for 15 years, has introduced Bubbles and Brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays at her new Fort Lauderdale location.
She has been offering wine and tapas tastings, theme dinners, such as Dining in the Dark, and cooking classes since opening in Galt Ocean Plaza in May.
“I have created Lenore du Jour, my daily calendar of culinary events,” she says.
One of her favorite brunch dishes is the artichoke flower with creamed spinach, poached egg, roasted tomatoes and lemon hollandaise ($14).
“If I was on a desert island with only one thing to eat, it would be artichokes,” she says.
She also favors her complimentary Ethereal Cream Cheese Biscuits, California BLT with smoked turkey and avocado ($14), Angus burger with cheddar, pepper bacon, fried egg and fried onions ($14) and braised short rib and potato-gratin eggs Benedict ($15).
Eight brunch cocktails ($8, or unlimited for $18) include the Sake Mary, Hibiscus Ginger Spritzer, BLT Mary and sangria.
An airy atmosphere incorporates oversize silver bowls and platters on light walls, aqua accents, white leather chairs, sofas, teal pendant lighting, mosaics and Mexican tile flooring.
