Picking out the perfect Valentine’s gift for your sweetie is easy. You can never go wrong with roses, chocolate, diamonds or a new fragrance.

They say food is the way to a man’s heart, but ladies have to eat, too. Either way, impress your little lovebird on the most romantic day of the year. Depending on her taste (and the size of your wallet) there are many dining options in South Florida that even Cupid himself would approve. Here are a few Valentine’s Day restaurant specials.

For penny-pinchers

Mediterraneo Café and Grill’s special includes a Sicilian appetizer, a glass of wine, and a choice of pasta (fettucini quattro, penne bolognese, spaghetti and broccoli) or chicken scaloppini and mushrooms. III Forks Prime Steakhouse is offering a meat-lovers menu for $140 a couple that includes a salad, broiled tenderloin and a chocolate-lovers dessert.
