The owners of 10-month-old Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar have debuted a fast-casual version next door in the new Delray Place plaza.
“We hope to attract like-minded area diners to Localgreens whose lifestyles promote health and wellness as an everyday focus. Our motto is ‘Live green, live well,’ ” says owner Dave Magrogan, who moved to Delray Beach from Pennsylvania. “We strive to provide the community with healthy, locally sourced, farm-to-table ingredients.”
The chefs consulted with certified nutritionists and don’t add salt or sugar to enhance flavors.
Customers build their own salads and bowls based with grains, noodles, acai or grass-fed Greek yogurt via a touch-screen kiosk. They also can customize specialties, such as the Cobbocado salad ($7.45), hummus tandoori salad ($7.95), Mighty Farro bowl ($7.45) and Hawaii Mang-o brown rice bowl ($6.45) with free-range chicken, stir-fry steak, tuna poke, citrus shrimp, tofu scramble or plant-based faux-chicken strips ($2.95-$4.95).
Seasonal house-made popsicles offer dairy and non-dairy versions ($2.95).
A fresh industrial vibe incorporates a wall-size photo of a farm, multi-toned wood accents, concrete floor, seating made from sawdust and other recycled materials.
