Steve Martorano does Thanksgiving on Thursday's "Today" show

Staff writer

I can’t wait to see watch Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford interact with our own Steve Martorano on NBC’s “Today” show between 10 and 11 a.m. Thursday.

Martorano — who owns eponymous restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood and Las Vegas — will appear on the show to prepare an Italian-American style Thanksgiving. He’ll demo dishes he grew up eating in South Philly, such as butter cookies and his famous meatball salad.

Martorano has also recently signed with Mario Lopez’s entertainment company to make a docu-soap about his life story and will also soon begin shooting season two of his web cooking series, “Steve Martorano: The Italian American Cook.”

Watch for it in January on and

He’s also getting ready to open a second Las Vegas restaurant, his first on the strip, inside the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
