Cigar City tap takeovers: The darling of Florida’s craft-beer scene will invade the Laser Wolf on March 12 and Tap 42 on March 14. The Tap 42 takeover is also the Craft Brewjas’ first meetup of the year. South Florida’s leading lady-advocates of women drinking craft beer will feature six Cigar City brews at their event. Legal Sea Foods Patron tequila tutorial: For $28 plus tax and gratuity, guests can sample three kinds of Patron cocktails paired with seafood bites at the Boca Raton location Friday, March 8. The pairing will start at 5:30 p.m., and a Patron representative will talk through the brand’s different styles and answer questions. Sweetwater’s the Bruery vs. Brewery Ommegang pairing: Boynton Beach’s premier spot for boutique-distilled spirits has recently pumped its craft-beer repertoire. On March 13, Sweetwater Bar and Grill will hold a pairing dinner pitting products from two of the best breweries around. Sprung Beer Festival: From the makers of Grovetoberfest comes this spring-themed craft-beer festival. If its fall counterpart is any indication of Sprung’s quality, it should be one of the best beer festivals south of Jupiter. Tickets cost $39-$89 plus fees for the March 9 event.
