Beeline to the Funky Buddha April 9 for a spot in the Founders' Club

Snifter Club members at the Funky Buddha Lounge in Boca Raton know the deal: Pay a yearly fee, get your name etched on a Buddha snifter, drink more and pay less. At the Buddha's upcoming location in Oakland Park, the club's perks get a bit more serious.

For a $150 entry fee and $125 every year thereafter, members will get all the discounts and benefits of the Boca-based Snifter Club, plus Oakland Park's Founders' Club goodies:

- Snifters that say "Founders" as well as members' names, on display at the new bar
- A 1-gallon growler etched with "Founders" for use in Buddha tasting rooms
- A "Founders" Funky Buddha work shirt (button-up, short-sleeve, collared)
- Exclusive invitation to a yearly party with free food and drinks at the brewery
- Yearly members-only bottle release of a beer not available to the public on tap, in growlers or bottles, but complimentary for Founders' Club members
- Guaranteed access to all special releases, bottles of which will be held at the brewery and available to members before the public

Here's the catch: There are only 155 memberships available, and they will all be sold at a launch party April 9 at the Funky Buddha homebrew shop, next to the lounge in Boca. It'll be a first-come, first-served basis starting at 7 p.m., so get there early.

Current Snifter Club members can sign up until April 9, but there are only 75 spots reserved for them. Check the Facebook event for more details.

Please note the sign-up party will be held at the Boca Raton location. The Oakland Park brewery is not open yet, but some dates are being thrown around internally.
