Thirsty? Here's a guide to some food and drink events for the next two weeks.

BROWARD

Las Olas Wine and Food Festival: A street fair will end the weeklong festival, serving unlimited wines, some cocktails and culminating in a late-night party at Vibe. Tickets cost $100 at LasOlasWFF.com and the tasting starts at 7:30 April 19 between Southeast Sixth Street and 11th avenues in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Blues, Brews and BBQ: The Seminole Casino Coconut Creeks will host guitarist Tab Benoit, the North Mississippi Allstars and other blues musicians during the sixth annual festival. More than 100 brands of beer will be served, and participating barbecue restaurants include Sparky's Roadside Barbecue and Lucille's Bad to the Bone BBQ. Hollywood Doggie Beach Pictures

Shipyard dinner at DBA Café: The four-course meal will pair locally sourced dishes from the modern-American restaurant with beers from Maine's Shipyard Brewing Company at 7 p.m. on April 25, 2364 N. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. Seats cost $45. To reserve one, call 954-565-3392.

Stone tap takeover at Tap 42: This isn't the first time the beer bar goes full-on Stone Brewing Company, but this event on April 25 is labeled the "You're Not Worthy" tap takeover. Fort Lauderdale Bar Crawl: The second crawl of this series will include the new Dubliner Irish Pub in the Himmarshee area as one of its stops. Crawlers will get discounts at eight bars starting at 6:30 p.m. April 27, and they can move from bar to bar independently. Tickets cost $20 at FortLauderdaleBarCrawl.com or $25 the day of the event.

PALM BEACH

Red Hot Blues Cruise: This free event on April 20 in downtown Boynton Beach packs hot-pepper eating contests and car shows into the same day. Hot-pepper dishes will be for sale for non-competitors, and the blues will be provided by Palm Beach bars and clubs. See RedHotBluesCruise.com for details.

Wine Down Wednesdays at III Forks: The restaurant's Palm Beach Gardens location offers $15 wine tastings and hors d'oeuvres every Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Go to IIIForks.com for details.

Palm Beach Brew at the Zoo: The first beer festival at the Palm Beach zoo will go on from 6 to 9 p.m. April 27. For $35, sample more than 50 beers and take home a pilsner glass and a coupon for zoo entry. Buy tickets at PalmBeachZoo.org.

Virginia Philip wine pairing: West Palm Beach's master sommelier will host owners Francesco Blanco and Fabrizio Giogio of Palm Beach's Café Sapori, 205 Southern Blvd., for a four-course pairing at 12:30 p.m. April 20. Tickets cost $50. Call 561-721-6000 to reserve.

MIAMI-DADE

Rum Renaissance: The mammoth rum festival's grand tasting will happen at the Miami Airport Convention Center on April 20 and 21. Tickets cost $50 per day for 2 p.m. entry, and $65 for VIP entry at noon. Both price levels include more than 200 wine samples. See RumRenaissance.com for tickets.

Shellback Rum mixology class: Tickets are limited for this free introduction to mixology featuring the new rum brand and cocktail guru Tony Abou-Ganim. The master mixer is TV personality and author of mixology books, and he will guide guests through muddling techniques using bar-quality tools. The event will take place May 2 at the Miami Art Space.
