Tickets are still available for Friday’s third annual Slow Food Miami Snail of Approval tasting party.
This year, the event is being held 7-10 p.m. poolside at The Raleigh Hotel (1775 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305-534-6300), home of Restaurant Michael Schwartz, 2014 Snail of Approval winner. Chef Schwartz is the evening’s ambassador.
Guests will sample bites from 18 of South Florida’s best farm-to-table restaurants including 3030 Ocean, Capri, Chef Adrianne’s, The Cypress Room, Edge Steak & Bar at The Four Seasons, Essensia at the Palms, Lido Restaurant at The Standard Hotel, LoKal Burger & Beer, KUSH and Sakaya Kitchen.
Grey Goose Vodka, a 2012 award winner, will supply hand-crafted cocktails. There will be wine from Stellar Wines and Michael's Genuine Home Brew courtesy of Royal Caribbean International and its new Michael's Genuine Pub.
