As the newest and the fourth in a chain of Japanese-Korean restaurants in South Florida, SooWoo aims to best Benihana with teppanyaki, food cooked on an iron griddle.

There's the typical teppanyaki elements like seafood and steak, but also sushi and Korean staples like kimchi and bulgogi. And for game days, there's flat screens throughout the restaurant.

"We're like Papa John's - better ingredients, better food, better quality," said owner Bok H. An.
