St. Patrick’s Day happens early for many South Florida restaurants. At Shake Shack in Boca Raton, Miami Beach and Coral Gables, Irish Fries are Smiling will be on the menu starting Friday through the 17th. The fries are topped with horseradish cream, scallions, and crispy apple wood smoked bacon.
At Coco Asian Bistro in Fort Lauderdale, chef Mike Ponluang is doing a corned beef roll with sliced corned beef, green shiso leaf, asparagus, scallions, and fried shallots wrapped in green soy paper. And don’t forget Dunkin’ Donuts doughnuts topped with crushed Oreos and green frosting.
On Monday, corned beef and cabbage will be everywhere. So will green beer.
But BC Cafe in Davie will celebrate with a themed breakfast that includes Lucky Charm pancakes and a green frittata made with zucchini, broccoli and kale. For the lunch, they’ll serve a corned beef and braised cabbage taco with mustard aioli. At GG’s Waterfront Bar & Grill in Hollywood, look for Irish Rover Nuts made with potato, corned beef, jalapeño, and Irish Islands dressing.
At SAIA Sushi in Fort Lauderdale, the leprechaun-worthy Rainbow Roll with blue crab, tuna, salmon, white fish and avocado will be half price only on the 17th.
