Tarpon River Brewing

The owners of the three Riverside Markets, the Native Brewing Company and the Restaurant People hospitality group have united to unveil this brewpub.

Lisa and Julian Siegel founded Riverside, while the Restaurant People is the local culinary powerhouse behind Tarpon Bend Food and Tackle, YOLO, S3, the reimagined Boatyard and Rooftop@1WLO.

“We’ve been working toward this project for many years, and the final pieces of the puzzle finally fell into place once we partnered with the Restaurant People,” Lisa Siegel said in a press release. “They bring an element of hospitality pedigree that we needed to create something of this scale.”

They’ve constructed an old Florida cracker-style house from reclaimed barnwood beside a bank of copper brewery tanks — all inside a warehouse born as stables in the 1920s. The house contains a taproom with a crowler filling station and barrel-lined dining room. A front porch area of AstroTurf offers yard games.

Three meals are served daily, echoing Riverside’s menu with beer-inspired fare, such as loaded Hangover Fries with IPA cheddar sauce ($6), giant pretzel with beer cheese ($10) and IPA mac and cheese burger with fried onions ($12).

Up to 14 rotating taps range from barrel-aged ales to sour beers ($5-$7).
