This light and airy Sardinian seafood eatery is offering its summer menu until at least October.
The executive lunch of an appetizer, entree and side for $13.99 now has an upgraded version called “super executive lunch” for $15.99, with choices including Caesar salad and spaghetti carbonara. Two of the new lunch salads (starting at $10) showcase quinoa — the Mediterranean and tropical.
“Our goal is to change the menu every six months,” chef and owner Andrea Fadda says. “When I created the tropical salad, my vision was to integrate popular ingredients, such as quinoa and avocado, while maintaining Zona Blu’s signature healthy and delicious standard. The combination of these ingredients served with the citronette dressing prepared from scratch has quickly become a favorite.”
Dinner highlights include grilled calamari with balsamic vinaigrette salad ($16), lasagna with shrimp ragu ($18) and all-natural rabbit roasted and then baked in tomato sauce ($30).
“The rabbit is marinated for 24 hours in Sardinian cannonau wine and is a very traditional recipe that is a local favorite on the island of Sardinia,” Fadda says. “We introduced this dish as a special and decided to add it permanently to the menu because many of our guests requested it on a regular basis.”
