A craving for dining deals: Broward's annual restaurant promotion returns Sept. 1-Sept. 30 with a new name, Crave GFL (which stands for Greater Fort Lauderdale). Formerly known as Dine Out Lauderdale, the promotion is shorter than last year's, which ran six weeks. More than 40 restaurants have signed up to offer $37 multicourse dinners, not including tax, tip or drinks. Menu offerings are not listed yet on the official website, but participating restaurants include Burlock Coast, Capital Grille, Cafe Maxx, Chima, Eduardo de San Angel, JWB Prime Steak and Seafood, Kuro, Morton’s, Naked Crab, Rusty Hook Tavern, Ruth’s Chris and Steak 954. I'll spotlight some best bites before the event begins.
