Chill Wine Lounge drinks for Boston victims Friday

Wine-industry professional Kristin Loehning is using her connections to help sister Jacqui Webb, who suffered shrapnel damage to her legs in the April 15 Boston Marathon bombings, raise money to cover surgery costs.

Loehning secured wine as donations for an event to be held this Friday, April 26, at Fort Lauderdale's Chill Wine Lounge.

For $25, guests can taste 10 varietals from wineries in California, Oregon and South America. The event will start at 8 p.m. For details and a full wine list, visit the event Facebook page.

All proceeds will benefit Webb, who was injured by the second bomb. Funds will also go toward her boyfriend Paul Norden and his brother JP, who both lost their right legs.

Loehning is aiming to raise $100,000 for their collective surgeries. She created a Facebook page and GoFundMe.com site to track fundraising progress.
