Smokey Bones introduces new cocktails with $15 pairing party

The Plantation restaurant has revamped its drink menu with blood orange margaritas and smokin' cucumber Bloody Marys. To familiarize its clientele with the new offerings, Smokey Bones is throwing a pairing party Thursday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m.

The Florida-based chain's new CEO thought to launch the cocktail program with a book detailing the 14 drinks, so the event will double as a book-release party. The $15 entrance fee gets you food, drink and chats with liquor-brand reps who will explain every intricacy of the booze you'll be guzzling.

These are the samples offered:

Fresh diamond margarita paired with garlic buffalo wings
Blood orange passionrita with side order of loaded cheese fries
Mango pepperita with smoked wings
Triple rum punch and pretzel bones with garlic butter
Chocolate raspberry cake with a chocolate cake sweet shot
