Reba McEntire, Festival on the 500 and SoBe Comedy Festival's Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer: On the comedian's recent Comedy Central stand-up special, Schumer lamented those predictable endings at the conclusion of porn movies: "Guess what happens at the end of that rainbow every time?" she quipped. "There's never a twist. After he finishes having sex with her, the guy's never reaching into her backpack and saying, 'Oh, are you reading that Nicholas Sparks book, too? Let's start a bed-and-breakfast together.'" The "Last Comic Standing" alumna has a new Comedy Central sketch show, "Inside Amy Schumer," due to premiere April 30. Before that, don't be surprised when she talks mostly sex stuff at the South Beach Comedy Festival at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. at the Colony Theatre. $45.35. 305-674-1040 or Phillip Valys

Reba McEntire: She started as a country singer, added Broadway ("Annie Get Your Gun") and TV (first "Reba" on the CW, and now ABC's "Malibu Country."). The Oklahoma native and daughter of a champion steer roper reaches into her stable of 40 No. 1 hits (including "I'm A Survivor," "Why Haven't I Heard From You" and "Fancy") at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. Tickets are $79-$154. Go to Nick Sortal

Festival on the 500: Do not be alarmed: The number refers to the 500 Block of Clematis Street, not the price tag. The outsize block party in downtown West Palm Beach, you'll be relieved to know, is free from 5:30-7:30 p.m., as well as the live tunes from performers Cori Spring and LotSaPapa. A handful of Clematis businesses -- Longboards, Hullabaloo, Cabana and O'Shea's -- will supply food and drink specials, and an optional 6-11 p.m. Bus Loop is making the rounds for beer-guzzlers who'd rather ride than crawl to the pubs. $30-$35 for the loop, and includes complimentary drinks along the route and post-pizza party at World of Beer. 561-317-0556 or Phillip Valys
