 Dogma's self-described "frank philosophy" is to disseminate hot dogs in many forms -- 22 to be exact. The restaurant serves its wieners in varieties ranging from the standard chili-cheese dog and Chicago-style with relish, pickles and tomatoes to exotic offerings such as the Matador (with spicy mustard, creamy horseradish, melted Swiss cheese and grilled onions) and the Athens (which resembles a Greek salad atop a hot dog). Dogma also prepares chicken sandwiches, pastrami Reubens and even a BLT. Salads, French fries, beer and milk shakes also are available. The parking is a little difficult at the original location on Biscayne Boulevard because a car wash is being built next door, but where there's a will to eat fantastic dogs, there's a way. The Miami restaurant is open 10 a.m.-11 p.m. daily. The new Dogma on Washington Avenue keeps hours appropriate to its South Beach location: 11 a.m.-1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-5 a.m. Friday and Saturday. It's a great place to close out a night of clubbing.
