 Dining at Betty's is one of life's great guilty pleasures. Don't even think about calories or cholesterol as you scarf down a plate of perfectly prepared fried chicken or stewed beef, accompanied by a dish of pork-studded collard greens or creamy mashed potatoes and gravy. Other delights, such as oxtails, smothered pork chops and Betty's famous chitlins also vie for your attention, but be sure to save a little room for a slab of cornbread, which comes with all entrées, or maybe even a slice of red velvet cake for dessert. It's not exactly health food, but to quote our beloved Grandpa Joe, "If you eat it for 100 years, you'll live a long time."
