Gen Art's Fresh Faces in Fashion Miami Show

For more than 10 years, Gen Art has given emerging designers a shot at the big time. Dedicated to promoting talent in fashion, film, music and the visual arts, the organization's fashion events have boosted the careers of Zac Posen, Rebecca Taylor and many others. On March 18, locals such as Darrin McWhorter and Kristopher Hegland of Cardiac, Alexandra Vidal, Michael Anania and Luis Morais were among the designers who showed off their collections. Cindy Taylor of E! Entertainment Television hosted the show, in which onlookers watched models strut their stuff on a runway set up over the pool at Doubletree's Surfcomber Hotel in Miami Beach. With its complimentary Red Diamond wine, L'Oréal gift bags and hot fashions, this show is still one to remember even six months later.
