Okeeheelee park is geared toward competitive sports, as it is equipped with softball, soccer, football and rugby fields; 27 holes of golf; and volleyball and tennis courts. The bonus attractions include a BMX track, a world-class competitive water-skiing course and, best of all, lakes stocked with fish. Both of the park's lakes are part of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission's Urban Fishing Program, so the fish grow quickly, thanks to automatic feeders, and catfish are stocked annually to maintain a steady supply for anglers. Boats, canoes, kayaks and other watercraft are available to rent. The park is open sunrise to sunset.
