 Responsible for the Langerado Music Festival as well as a host of concerts, primarily ones held at the Culture Room, South Florida Jams has developed a jam-band scene where none existed. This promotions company, headed by Ethan Schwartz, also shares duties with Brown Coffee Productions in producing the rampantly successful Jam Cruises. The effect of all these shows is far greater than the sum of the parts. South Florida Jams has not only created a hippie-friendly scene out of essentially nothing, it has proved South Florida to be a viable concert destination. With national touring acts constantly bypassing South Florida, often dipping only as far south as Tampa or Orlando if they enter Florida at all, Langerado and SFJ's other shows have forced national tours to sit up and take notice.
