Alex Safier

 Alex Safier has been skating for only six years, but the 19-year-old is already competing at the national level as part of the Flatline Skateboard team, and his sponsors include the DVS Shoe Company, Ambiguous Clothing and BC Surf and Sport. A frequent visitor to Ramp 48 in Pompano Beach and a graduate of Olympic Heights High School in Boca Raton, Safier now lives with what he describes as "a bunch of other people" in Fort Lauderdale. Known for his gnarly tricks and hard rail stunts, Safier can be seen in action on the recently released DVD Flatline Skateboards: Not Even Here or at Automatic Slim's in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday nights, when the nightclub erects a curbside half-pipe.
