 The best way to wash your car is to do it yourself by hand, so you can scrub the body free of dirt and grime. But if you don't have the time and temperament to do the dirty work, the Simoniz Car Wash at the northwest corner of Nob Hill Road and Broward Boulevard is the next-best thing. A basic exterior wash starts at $5.99, but do yourself a favor and upgrade to the express for a real hands-on cleaning. For $14.99, you get a thorough vacuuming and pre-cleaning of bugs and such from the front grill. The wash, which you can watch from inside the building through the plate-glass windows, comes with a clear-coat shine and protectant. Finally, a team of about half a dozen workers hand-dries the exterior and finishes the job with a thorough wipe-down of the interior, including the dashboard and all the windows. Detailing and waxing are also available, and you can get your carpets and floor mats shampooed.
