Second IKEA comes to South Florida; 350 new jobs expected

Swedish retailer IKEA is getting ready to open its second store in  South Florida -- in Miami-Dade County -- and is looking to hire 350 workers.

The new store, scheduled to open this summer, will be located adjacent to the Dolphin Mall and along Florida's Turnpike in the City of Sweetwater.

Jobs are available in home furnishings, interior design, customer service,  cashier services, security, facility management, receiving, stock replenishment and warehouse.

About 60 food service opportunities also will be available in its restaurant, Swedish Foodmarket, Café Bistro and co-worker cafeteria.
