So how does a team with matching championship rings accessorize? With matching WWE title belts.
It started in December, when Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy celebrated his NFL rushing championship with a self-styled, wrestling-like championship belt during his postgame NBC interview.
LeBron James, a devout Dallas Cowboys fans, was watching after the Miami Heat arrived in Denver that day.
That led James to inquire on Twitter about where he could acquire such an adornment.
It didn't take long for answers to come, with Twitter responses from the WWE's Dwayne Johnson and John Cena, who even posted a video.
James eventually got his belt as a belated birthday gift, and Wednesday the Heat showed off their matching accessories.
That led James to post on Instagram:
"Always wanted to be the WWE Heavyweight World Champion so today I surprised my teammates with their own for their collection. And by the way it's a Great time to be a @WWE fan with the launch of #WWENetwork #LoveMyTeammates #WWEStandOutAsAKid #StriveForGreatness."
Teammate Mario Chalmers followed with, "Swagg champs we got the belts. Always wanted one of these as a kid. Stone cold Steve Austin was my favorite wrestler. Heat nation #HEATLES STRIKE AGAIN."
