First Lady Michelle Obama will travel to South Florida Tuesday as part of the fourth anniversary of her Let's Move! initiative that's meant to foster better health.
According to her White House schedule, Mrs. Obama will travel to Miami in the afternoon to visit a parks and recreation center and to make a major announcement about healthy out-of-school time.
Earlier in the day, in Washington, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will join Mrs. Obama for an announcement on school wellness and to highlight progress that has been made in school health enviornments across the country.
Let's Move was launched in Feb. of 2010 as a way to focus on creating healthier lives for school children.
Last month, the Miami Heat played a role in helping the First Lady promote better health. While visiting the White House for the team's championship commemoration, Mrs. Obama joined coach Erik Spoelstra and several team members in shooting a healthy eating video.
