It might be a gloomy New Year's Eve - weather-wise at least - as the same cloudy conditions of the past few days are expected to continue through Thursday.

It also should be breezy, particularly tonight, when gusts are predicted to reach 21 mph.

As for that cold weather many were hoping for? Not gonna happen, at least over the next two days. However, a mild cool-down is predicted on Friday.

South Florida's Tuesday forecast: Mostly cloudy with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s, overnight lows in the upper 60s and low 70s and a 20 percent chance of rain.
