Expect breezy mild weather today and warm temperatures over the weekend. We could see a nice cool-down early next week.

South Florida's Thursday forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with afternoon highs in the upper 70s, overnight readings in the upper 60s and a 40 percent chance of rain. Parts of the region saw showers this morning.

Because of the winds, with gusts to 20 mph, there is a moderate risk of rip currents at the beaches.

Friday should be a degree or two warmer. The long-range forecast calls for temperatures to dip into the low to mid 50s on Tuesday night.
